My two greatest mistakes in coming to South Korea

My first greatest mistake in coming to South Korea is that I left my country at the age of 33 years which to me was very late because the level I would have been operating in by now would have been very very high if I had left at 18 years or 24 years old. When I got here I discovered I had come in a little bit too late but not withstanding I thank God for the maturity that he created in me in my home country. It has helped me a lot here. And I also know that God makes all things beautiful in his own time and that all things work together for good for them that are called even according to his purpose.

The second greatest mistake I did was that when I was coming I didn’t have a mentor in Korea. I didn’t have someone to receive me at the airport, accommodation assistance, job arrangements or to even tell me this is what to expect abroad etc. A mentor will make a million differences in your life abroad. That’s why today I try to mentor others and teach them all that they need to know before coming abroad so that they don’t make the mistakes I made. A mentor will save you both time and money. I believe that if its only mentorship we charge $5000 for, its is worth it because what we teach our clients, nobody taught us when we were traveling abroad and nobody that we knew that lived abroad ever taught us because they just didn’t care.

Don’t make these two mistakes if you intend to go abroad. You may think that you are being penny wise but in the end you are being pound foolish. This is hard truth that no one in your country will tell you. Not even a brother abroad will tell you these things that we teach and preach. Don’t wait for a perfect time. You are getting older. The sooner you leave your country the better. Leave as early as 18 years old if you have to. Even if you are 45years old, leave now. Secondly get professional advise no matter the cost. Its well worth it but make sure that the person you are talking to really cares for you and knows what he is talking about. If you get these two things right, your success is guaranteed abroad within the shortest possible time.
